Once again, major engineering companies of our country rely on MMYPEM to carry out their projects abroad.
In this case, it involves the commissioning phase of the Combined Cycle Power Plant located in Aconcagua, to be executed by Duro Felguera S.A. for ENAP (Empresa Nacional del Petróleo).
MMYPEM will provide E.S.R and mechanical services, both at the commissioning stage.
The steam generated in the boiler is sent to the refinery in its entirety, which has a novel system with a fresh air that, together with the burners, maintains it for a time in case of turbine firing. This Combined Cycle Thermoelectric Power Plant has a maximum power of 77MW. The facility will be located 1.5 kilometres from the Aconcagua refinery, in the Valparaíso region of Chile, where all the steam produced will go, together with 35 MW of electricity the excess will form part of the Central Interconnected System of Chile
