TSK was awarded in 2016 with the construction of a new sugar refinery in the King Fahd industrial port of Saudi Arabia, which helped demonstrating its extensive experience in the sugar sector. This project had an execution period of 27 months and was supported by MMYPEM in its operation and assembly works.
MMYPEM carried out the assembly operations, alignment of rotating equipment and piping works in the construction of the plant.
The new refinery, which has a production capacity of 2,500 tons of white sugar per day, will cooperate with the Saudi Arabian market on its annual consumption of more than 1.2 million tons of this type of sugar.
Thanks to this project, TSK has helped the sustainable development of the country and in the creation of more than 370 new jobs.
