After having carried out the assembly of the turbogroup and subsequently the mechanical and operational start-up, MMYPEM has been awarded by ACCIONA the contract for the mechanical support works for the mid-term inspection of the plant’s steam turbine.
ACCIONA has once again placed its trust in MMYPEM, highlighting its extensive experience in this type of work thanks to its highly qualified team of professionals.
With this new contract, MMYPEM firmly consolidates its position as a benchmark in turbine maintenance.
The biomass plant in Cubillos del Sil (León) is one of the largest forest biomass plants on the Iberian Peninsula and in southern Europe. It has a surface area of 100,000 square metres and a nominal power of 49.9 MW, which enables it to generate 290 GWh per year from 280,000 tonnes of forestry biomass per year.
