Técnicas Reunidas selects MMYPEM to perform the alignment of rotating equipment in the electric power and steam generation plant of Kilpilahti. Alignment works started on last September.
This is a modernizing project aimed at replacing two old boilers and two steam turbines of the existing power plant in the industrial area of Kilpilahti in Porvoo, approximately 40 km east of Helsinki, Finland.
The installed capacities proposed for the project are 450MW of thermal heat and approximately 30MW of electricity. The project will also produce demineralized water.
The power plant will comply with the latest environmental standards, including the European Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75/EU) (IED).
